What is it?
The IP65 Rated Crown Right Angle Gear Drives have been checked and put under testing by an independent company and one drive comes with nickel-coated protection, to stop corrosion. The drives work by transmitting power, in a soundless and steady fashion. They are available in rotating, 2 and 3-way shafts and in 2:1 and 1:1 rations. It is ideal and made for environments where there is lots of dust, dirt, or water, as its Ingress Protection allows for it to be sprayed down. As mentioned previously, its nickel-coating prevents corrosion, and it’s also made up of stainless steel which will again provide protection and help its longevity, especially around chemicals and other harsh substances it may come across.
How does it work?
It can go up to 2000 rpm and it even has AGMA Class 10 spiral bevel gears, that have been treated with heat and also have a H1 Rated Food Grade Grease so they stay lubricated. The design is also tamper resistant and the drives will not require maintenance. As well as this, they can operate in a wide range of temperatures. More significantly, their water-shedding design does not allow for any bacteria to get trapped.
What sizes are available?
There are available in a variety of sizes and models, in order for them to be suitable for a range of requirements and needs. They are available in 2:1 and 1:1 ratios and 1-inch, ¾, ⅝, ½, and ⅜ shaft diameters. Special and custom designs are also available if needed.
