Variable Ratio Transmission Guide

The VRT™ Variable Ratio Transmission is for seeding and fertilising agriculture. This blog will explain to you exactly what it is, what it does, and how it can be of benefit to you.

What is it?

The VRT™ Variable Ratio Transmission is a practical piece of equipment that can help you make sure seeds and fertilisers are being accurately spread. It is designed to work alongside the current agricultural tools and practices and in essence, links the controls with the distribution. It’s so impressive that it still places seeds correctly with speed increases and decreases.

The Features

The VRT™ Variable Ratio Transmission is adjustable for whatever area you need to cover, there’s a wide range of ratio options and settings, which can even be changed whilst it's on. These adjustments are easy to do and are accurate. In fact, its torque and speed can be extended even further using chains along its shaft. As well as this, the VRT™ Variable Ratio Transmission is dirt resistant and comes with lubrication already on it. It’s durable and requires little to no maintenance.

What sizes are available?

The VRT™ Variable Ratio Transmission comes in two standard sizes, both of which offer up to a 300 rpm speed and a super precise 0 to 0.25:1 ratio. You can also choose what way you’d like it to work, and what direction you’d like it to move in. You can have all of the control. Actually, custom designs are available if needed.
